GOPe IGNORING ALISON GRIMES CRUSHING MCCONNELL IN KY
EEE | 28 JUNE 2014 | EEE

Posted on 06/28/2014 6:09:16 PM PDT by Extremely Extreme Extremist

But wait a minute. We all know that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is invincible and has the good-old boys GOP establishment working 'round-the-clock for him, right? Maybe they'll GOTV among blacks and Democrat voters?

Folks, forget about Mississippi and think about what's occurring in Kentucky for a minute.

Poll after poll after poll finds Mitch behind the 8-ball of his opponent, while he still hasn't made any of his other balls in the pool pocket yet. Grimes is completely running the table, and having shots of Jagermeister with her gal pals.

Granted, these polls are within the margin of error and are several weeks' old. But Mitch is below the magic 50% mark in all of them, and he's behind. That's dangerously low, like sulphuric-acid, fire and brimstone spewing at the Gates of Hades low, for a well-known veteran incumbent like McConnell.

So what does that tell you?

It means that grassroots conservatives are so capital F'ing disgusted with the GOP establishment, the beltway pigs, the K-street Trent Lott and soon to be Eric Cantor lobbyists, the U.S. Chamber of Cronies, and the Karl Roves who can't wait to feed at the trough assuming his guys win the Senate, that many of them are simply shrugging their shoulders and staying home, and saying the Hell with it, I'd rather have the Rat win so we can get this show on the road.

I don't see the Stupid Dumb-Ass Party winning the Senate this year, and the beautiful thing is, they can't blame us mean-old Tea Party wackos. Because Grimes is running a beautiful below-the-radar campaign. Sorry FReepers, I know Grimes is an out-and-out leftist, but props are given where they are due. She's gotten the obligatory endorsements from the unions, feminazis, and pro-baby killers. But remember, Democrats always cast themselves as moderate, middle-class suck-ups prior to the election, so Grimes is getting grimy and visiting an underground coal mine and talking college costs with Fauxhontas from Mass. See, see...she represents the people!

Yes, I know on these issues conservatives should reject the leftist narrative out of hand, but this crap does appeal to the sheeple and LIV, and the GOP is so focused on beating the Tea Party "insurgents," that they're completely ignoring the Democratic candidates in the general election that their pet RINOs will have to face.

McConnell, and possibly Thad Cochran and others, are on par to lose in the general election. The GOP establishment is still hungover at beating back the Tea Party. Like good RINOs, they'll graciously concede to the Democrats, and because they stopped the "insurgent" Tea Party wackos, they'll get rewarded by the leftist Ruling Class.

Those Chihuahuas and Poodles that are in Hollywood starlet's bags as they shop on Rodeo Drive? Yeah, that's the Republicans right now, getting petted by their Democrat valley-girl masters.

No surprise. The deck is stacked. The elites win no matter what any vote count might say. That’s what has become of our former democracy.

Above margin of error for a Rat meant a 10 point lead. You have to factor fraud.

My objective point is that the GOP establishment cares more about defeating so-called "insurgent" Tea Party conservative challengers that they're missing the ball on the general election.

Who is going to vote for these wonderful enlightened moderate, reach-across-the-aisle Republicans in the general?

Sorry, but I don't see the GOP winning the Senate.

Thud and O’Connell may be able to check the base by burning bridges, but they are in a losing game for the long run. They’ll run out of incumbent RINOs by sacrificing themselves, and eventually replaced by conservatives in these red states. In the meantime, Ds will get to enjoy their luck and one term in office.

If mitch was in anyway involved with what happened in Mississippi, I don’t care if he loses.

The dems and repubs are destroying the USA. May as well get past this to where we can start over.

Close, but the only conclusion should be drawn is that Republicans/Conservatives better make sure to turn out to elect the Republican candidates to have any hope of capturing the Senate from the Dems.

RCP avg has McConnel up by 1.5 pts, scary, but this is not the time to give up, but to crawl over broken glass, if necessary, as they say and vote for the R candidate.

Several other very close races...

McConnell and the GOP are 100% to blame for what is coming.

Arrogance and stupidity. Insult, threaten and crap all over us and then expect us to pull the lever for our tormentors.

I held my nose for McConnell 6 years ago. Not doing it again.

Grimes is another lying lib, so I will not vote for her either.

The corporate masters care only that a conservative be locked out. That means they are satisfied if either Grimes or McConnell gets in. These two are their choices.

That McConnell is losing is the result of the base hating the ground he walks on.

In retrospect Bevin was not the caliber of candidate needed to take out McConnell. If he had been he would likely have suffered the same recent fate as McDaniels anyways.

But Bevin is not strong enough to mount a write-in campaign whereas McDaniels is strong enough.

I said back when the KY primary was coming up that if Bevin won, he would win the general and if McConnell won he would lose the general.

Conservatives lost KY. GOPe will lose KY. But to the corporate puppeteers, they are fine with the outcome that Bevin won’t be elected.

So if McConnell loses, do you think the republicans can come up with a conservative to challenge this lady the next time around? I don’t mind McConnell losing if we can start fresh with a good conservative.

"these polls are within the margin of error"

The polls are also within the Margin of Fraud.

Please re-read the paragraph at the absolute disgust the grassroots have at the GOP establishment.

Do you think they're going to turn out and "crawl over broken glass" to save Mitch after what he's done to the base? Hell, they probably wouldn't crawl over stacks of $100 bills.

I don't see Mitch winning. Grimes is running an excellent campaign at emphasizing pocket-book and Kentucky-oriented issues, plus the contrast between her and Mitch will speak volumes to the voters. Mitch is in the ditch, you heard it here first. Bookmark it!

Have no fear. When Mitch loses in November, they’ll still blame us. All the way to 2016...
