Satire aside, euthinasia of any sort is not a slippery slope, it is a cliff with no bottom, evidence abortion; I well remember the socialists argument used to legalize abortion, the same arguments are used today to perform abortions up to the moment of and after birth, although this may be illegal it is practiced on a regular basis.
Euthanasia will become mandatory, when anyone is of no longer use to the gov’t, and that is not hyperbole, sci-fi, nor satire.
