One of the oldest distilleries in the country is warning of what some observers are calling a

The new Cowabunga Bay Water Park is opening here tomorrow, after a month’s delay, and it would be nice to go — some time this summer. Somewhere, in the eight remaining tubs, is a swimsuit that Tiamat bought for me, years ago, when I had access to a pool.
I still miss her.
But then I would have to find the i...
Kathleen saw a man in a bright blue athletic shirt at Walmart the other day and thought it was her dad.
She didn’t see anyone at the pool who reminded her of Tom, but several of the lifeguards are about Bill’s age, with dark hair and a tan. Close enough!
Surely that’s within your capabilities.
Well, yes it is.
But it has been years since I have delved into the imaginary.
I now let Son#2 do that...
;-)
He seems to have a gift for it ... and I have many sons with which to compare him.
If you decide to go - but be careful on slides, with your joints! - I’ll send you a little something for the fees and a new bathing suit if you need it. Mine’s from Walmart!
You might find you can get waterproof/synthetic shorts and shirt, exercise clothes.
The swim suit doesn’t fit me now... But just being able to enjoy a day in the surf will be good! There are a couple of hotels with a surf pool, but one has to be a guest in order to indulge.
Cowabunga Bay has no such requirements. Pay your money and take your chances! LOL!
The Avon lady brought me six boxes, and with any luck I can begin to sort thru the books on Sunday. Tomorrow and Saturday are out, I think. I’ve been invited to wash clothes...with free transportation...for tomorrow until some time on Saturday.
Maybe I can convince him to take the china hutch... ;o])
I would feel more comfy in exercise clothes, I’m sure.... Thanks! Walmart is where I have an account...on account of I can’t afford anywhere else!
“You are a loner and enjoy living your life that way. You run around frantically, and make other people wonder about your mysterious nature. You can be territorial and lash out when you feel you have to defend yourself, your loved ones, and your home.”
You can check their website for a dress code, but they should be okay with the equivalent of “surf clothes.”
Me, too.
I think they just want the bodies there and won’t care too much as long as there are no strings, like cut-off jeans can have.
Especially in the first few weeks. They want the advertising to spread that they are a good place to go.
Good point. What’s the admission charge?
Only $10 for a senior admission ticket. It costs $7 for a guest at Monroe, free to members, and guests are not allowed on weekends until August.
Will send sufficient for a “surf” outfit and the ticket, and if you love it, you can get a Senior’s Pass. How far is it from your home?
I just looked at the map and it’s less that 10 minutes from here...door to door!
And it’s water...how could I not love it?
Try it once, and if you love it and don’t hurt yourself, you can get a Senior Pass for only $50, includes parking.
