One of the oldest distilleries in the country is warning of what some observers are calling a

My niece is going to hang the meat grinder with the rest of the kitchen gadget collection. She says she has a corner shelf to display it on, as if it were set up to work. She is SUCH a clever, creative person. And all her work looks professional from Jump Street. Her mother was the same way.
I normally have a hard time with jumpsuits, which is why I never wore them, but this is a Tall, so there was ample length in the torso. It is such a beautiful suit... *sigh*
The thrift store truck will be here tomorrow, so a lot of stuff will be going out. I have to make more room in here for things, but other things will be going out in the next load for donations, which will give me room to put the Christmas stuff.
NOW I’m excited!
I don’t recall what all is in the collection, but her mother had it all hanging from a rack above the old wringer washer in a kitchen corner. All of the stuff is very old, so I’m thinking there is a lot of money in that corner.
Of course I could probably sell it, but I would need to pay for the appraisal, and some sites want as much as $100 for that. I learned that because I wanted to see how much my copper bed warmer was worth. I really couldn’t pay money to make money...
Where are all those cute guys from Antiques Roadshow when you need them?
I know, huh? I’d settle for the Twins...
Sharp dressers, good haircuts!
Yep. Like that.
I’m excited about getting this stuff off my patio, and unpacking the next batch of stuff. I told the gal in dispatch at the thrift store that I would most likely have another load to pick up next week.
I wish this could have taken place in March of last year, when I asked for the third time. I had given up when one of the members of the church called me earlier this month and said he had a crew ready...I guess things happen in their own time.
True. We talked about getting our floor done for over a year until it just turned out to be the right time for us and Ramon Our Tile Guy.
Things come together when they are supposed to, but cooler weather would have been better, not to mention the fall I took last month. I could have been farther along than I am.
Still, I am grateful to have it, even though it wrenches my heart to give away some of the stuff.
Closing night, Switchfoot on stage. (Very 'noisy' smurtphome photo...)
Of course, I still have to finish unloading my trailer and stashing our equipment in the milkhouse where most of it will not see the outdoors until next June... Maybe I can find some younger person to assist... ;-)
It’s 106 degrees and rising. I’m worn out from the day. I’m also glad your stage production was a success!
I’ll talk to everyone tomorrow!
Wow, what a blast you must have had! Is there anything up on Youtube or somewhere that you know of?
Nevermind, I found a bunch of stuff and they’ll probably have more up on this year’s celebration soon.
Also I'm sure there will be a lot of stuff show up on EweToob shortly... ;-)
Happy Dominion Day!
Good morning! Is it really Dominion Day? Have a beer, eh!
It looks as though someone groomed the dog once, and had enough fur left over to make up a cat.
This leaves open the question of what happens when you groom the cat. Chances are it would just disappear.
The dog was distressed to find it had a fuzzy, rapidly growing tumor on his hip...
We had a cat that would disappear when you got out the grooming equipment.
