"I chose this picture because of the beautiful coats on the cats."

I'm chiming in late, but they look like watered silk...really lovely.

Yes, the black ones are amazingly shiny. The blue looks like he’s going to pounce right into the glass.

They were already dead and on fire when I got to them.
I merely brought the marshmallows!

It’s only 87 degrees, and as soon as it gets a little lighter, I will go out and tackle a couple more tubs. I just took some ibuprofen, so maybe that will help me last a little longer.

I found a lot of Christmas stuff yesterday, and I’m hoping I run across my flatware today...I don’t want to buy more...

LOTS of things to go to the thrift store!

It’s hard to believe July 4th is upon us already. Where did the last six months go?

It’s been a blur. I’m about to head out to the gym with byos and Kathleen. Then a shower and then the dermatologist. Sally is at her friend’s house until Whenever.

Sure is peaceful with no teenagers in the house!

In this heat, and with the exercise I’ll be getting hefting tubs and such, I don’t need to go to the gym.

No teenagers in my house, either! LOL!

Another five tubs emptied resulting in three more bags to go to the thrift store. I hope they can come tomorrow...I need to see the patio, again.

I had forgotten just how much I decorated for Christmas, but after another tubful of decorations, I’m wondering where my flatware is...

How much fun is all this??? LOL!

Wow, you’re really on a roll!

Gym, check.
Bills paid, check.
Shower, check.
Gerbils fed, check.
Now off to dermatologist. Hopefully it won’t take long: Bill is whiny.

This morning, I took ibuprofen before I started, but once again, the hip pain was more than I bargained for. Still, I got a lot done, so I won’t complain too loudly. (I can’t help but wonder how much more I could have done if I hadn’t fallen in May.)

I brought in a few things and now have to put them away, but that’s good...I have room for them! LOL!

It almost hurt having to donate some evening wear, but if it even fits, now, I will never wear it again, I’m sure.

Bill must be recovering...that’s usually when kids get whiney...

Speaking of wine, I wish I had some right about now... ;o]

When I made up my list to take to my doctor’s appointment next month, I forgot to add dermo referral. Thanks for the reminder!

I don’t like it when I have to give away clothes I love, just because I’m never going to wear them again!

The dermatologist said everything looks good except the spot on my shoulder. They took that off to be tested. Eye doctor called and said Tom’s frames were discontinued, so we (the optician and I) had to pick something else so we can get them back before he breaks another pair!

Now off to Walmart!

I have a black dress with sequins and gold beads, a “gold” and black shawl, “gold” heels and a small evening bag, and they are all waiting for pick-up from the thrift truck. *sigh* I just COULD NOT get rid of my faux sable coat, though. It’s still in the garment bag...lonely, but hanging up...

Is Tom the uber-frame breaker?

So many things yet to go...And that’s hot work out there. I have to keep coming in to rest, then I think of something else and out I go again.

Camp is a tough environment for glasses. Maybe he’ll get lucky and not break another pair!

What size is the dress? I know you’re taller, but I could hem it!

I think it’s a 14 or 16. I can wear it, but I have no place to wear it to.

I also have a gorgeous white jumpsuit that is “evening wear” but again, no place to go in it. And no heels to match...

I found my mother’s old hand meat grinder, but since I have nowhere to store it, and neither of the kids will care for it, I’m going to send it to my niece in Idaho. She inherited her mother’s collection of antique kitchen gadgets, and I figured she’d be sure to take care of it. This thing must be close to 100 years old.

A while ago, I went out to start the truck to visit a friend and it didn’t start. It’s not the battery, so I’m thinking I just didn’t give it enough gas. It’s too hot to mess with it, and I don’t want to try. I’ll go out again in the morning. If it doesn’t start then, I’ll call AAA.

Too big, and I was never one for jumpsuits for any occasion. My mother had an old flight suit of Dad’s that she wore for decades while painting and wallpapering.

I’m sure your niece will like the meat grinder. She can make sausage or pate’.
