Mr. Atkins can’t wait to get the ovens going in the work camps.

He may find himself with a blindfold and a cigarette (or e-cig?) against a wall before he gets the chance.

Or you're a minority who can't get an apartment because of discrimination.

Good gravy.

We'd all be better off.

But it's really not about going "back" or "forward" or "right" or "left". It's about moving UP to freedom rather than continuing the descent DOWN to dependency, tyranny and misery.

Why is Atkins even angry at George Will, the fake conservative..?

Reading this, I get that weird feeling when I hear some ultra liberal screaming about the “corporate controlled, ultra-conservative US media”.

There are people here in my neighborhood that I KNOW don’t have real documentation. Didn’t seem to stop them from renting or buying, purchasing automobiles, getting jobs and etc.

George Will is right. YES,disband American government, move back to the 19th century

government is the problem and can never work.
government owning and running things is socialism. socialism can never work.

just a few examples of U.S. government not working:

1.IRS. after 100 years of working out the “kinks” the IRS is making star trek videos, oppressing conservatives, line dance videos with our tax dollars

2. the EPA has decided that its main goal is to cripple coal power plants because of the hoax called global warming

3. government schools are punishing children because they draw pictures of a gun
4. NASA is also doing global warming studies , recently NASA put our a report that a large part of Antarctica is about to melt. This is totally fake by the way. and also aren't they supposed to be doing space exploration not scaring the public with fake global warming studies? NASA also did Muslim outreach
5. U.S. immigration gave Muhammad ATTA a visa months after he died and knocked down the world trade center on 9/11/01

6. BLM sent an army against cliven Bundy a U.S. citizen for no real reason

7. government has been funding global warming research for 30 years. global warming is a hoax

8.government banned lightbulbs because of the global warming hoax

even on this site some “freepers” have attacked me viciously because i dared to criticize government, NASA and the government schools

Or unless your children are tired of working in factories.

This is the one I can’t believe.

I know plenty of young people who would love to have a factory job.

All factories are like something out of a Dickens novel to leftists.

I have had the distinct displeasure of dealing with Mr Atkins, who is every bit the odious little toad you might expect from his column. He would just as soon have the BLM blow your head off as eat breakfast.

Back in the 19th century you couldn’t own property in some locales if you weren’t completely of the white race. That was a fact in Oregon.

My great-grandmother had always referred to herself as white, as did her whole family. They were listed on the census as white. She had been born in Tennessee.

Then her husband, who was from Massachusetts, divorced her in Ohio on the basis of her being colored (part Negro) and not white.

Go back to the 19th century? No.

“All of which would work great. Unless, you know, the world is burning because of climate change.”

Show me where. Even if true, which it isn’t, how have extreme environmentalist policies cooled anything down?

“Or unless you can’t afford healthcare or retirement.”

With Obamacare and government meddling in the healthcare business, people who could afford healthcare no longer can. It has driven up the costs of healthcare. Old people won’t need their retirement, because Obamacare death panels will declare them unnecessary.

“Or unless your children are tired of working in factories.”

If the left keeps up, there won’t be any factories for our children to work in. They won’t be working anyplace else, because no one have jobs, or the resources to pay them.

“Or you’re a minority who can’t get an apartment because of discrimination.”

First of all, BS! Second of all, if true, which it isn’t, minorities might have to move out of dangerous housing projects that provide generational destruction.

“Or unless Wall Street crashed your economy.”

And then had Democrats rush in with their Keynesian voodoo to prop up the very people who caused the problems, Wall Street bankers.

I don’t get it. Did the author have any real complaints to Will’s old time, limited government, or just warmed over, left nut demagoguery?

Correct. George Will is barely a conservative. He is an atheist and thinks homosexuality is no big deal, just like being left-handed.

Unlike the real 19th century, there is no God or family values in George Will’s utopia.

Yeah, but imagine an America with a small 19th century government and modern ideas about race. That sounds like a great combo to me. That’s where we were headed if the left hadn’t derailed the country in the 20th century.

George Will specifically mentions the clergy in his article quoted by the angry liberal blogger. He lists the clergy among those whom people should rely on to help solve their problems. In Will’s ideal world, people depend on their religious leaders, not government. He has specifically said that although he’s an atheist he respects religion and considers it a positive influence.

But let’s make George Will our enemy.

It’s very nice that George Will thinks positively of religion. A lot of people do. Big deal. Will writes some good columns but we need somebody who believes in God and will fight hard for life and marriage and the Bible.

Secularists like Will and Charles Krauthammer say they are “for religion” but then surrender on specific social issues - like gay marriage. Without God, you’re rootless.
