Jesse’s surgery postponed until noon.

Will post updates as I hear them.

Will be printing this thread in a few hours to take to Jesse later today.

Chuck Ness: More good news about Jesse!

Although his white blood cell count is trending downward - now about 1400, down from 2900 last weekend - docs say that there’s still an infection source somewhere and it must be located in order to continue effective treatment.

Yesterday he had heart and lung tests looking for the infection source and the doctors said that, although we must wait for final test results, they think his heart looks okay!

Also, his wounds are continuing to heal very well!

I have no doubt that prayer is the reason Jesse’s doing so well, considering the seriousness of this disease and the fact that it wasn’t caught early.

Words can’t express our gratitude for your prayers.

All these friends and more who do not know Jesse are still praying for him. Some have just clicked the like button but are still praying while not leaving comments. There are many who shared the message for prayers on their own timelines and so there are numerous others I do not know who have Jesse in their prayers. God is so good. May He hold and keep Jesse, and all of his medical team, for a successful surgery and recovery. In Jesus’ name.

Then, it’s rest, rest, rest to complete the healing ;)

Update to Update at 192:

Sorry for so many update pings today, but doctors changed today’s plan!

Jesse’s surgery is rescheduled for tomorrow because there was a lot of fluid in his shoulder so a little while ago they drained it.

He’s back in his room now. We just talked with him and he’s as sweet and optimistic as ever!

I know he’ll LOVE getting this thread and reading all of your prayers and kind words for him!
