Which of us didn’t see that one coming?
They’ll blame the U.S, because that’s the easy thing to do.
Meanwhile, the U.S. is heading down the same path as Venezuela and will enjoy the same results.

I hope nothing changes in Venezuela. Its people, for the most part, chose this path, and it seems the world always needs a reminder of the unavoidable, utter failure of socialism.
Venezuela is a nice little example too - made completely under controlled circumstances. No cold-war, no anti-colonial excuses, no civil war foiled on them by others.
Just socialism - straight up, in all its glory.

The real problem is scarcity caused by government overreach.
Hoarding and reselling are a symptom, not the cause of the problem.
Typical of commies to attack the symptom and blame people who are trying to survive and make a living and completely pretend the root cause does not exist.

Shoppers apparently buy food which is heavily subsidized and resell it on the black market to secure profits.

Former U.S. Rep. Joseph Kennedy was best buds with Chavez and the two of them used his heating oil program as propaganda against President George W. Bush.
So Joe Kennedy should be thrilled that Venezuela now has the kind of government that the left pines for — You know, the kind of government where there are no winners, just losers, equally.

Hopefully, all of those Latrinos will starve, the Takers and the Trough Feeders, and the jackbooted “military’.
Let’s hope they all get hungry enough to kill and eat all the druggies first.
Venezuela - nice land, baaad people.
Those who insist on retaining their “Latrino” “culture”(term used very casually) will stay mired in the collectivist mire that Central/South America are so fond of.

communism always fails. communists can’t see that, and always make excuses for communism.
