Before we examine the issue of Turkey, we must first examine the monumental problems in much of what circulates the prophecy arena in the West.
Perhaps the major problem with modern Bible Prophecy Analysts in the U.S. is that they are mostly ahistorical who also invest in a crowd that is also ahistorical.
Another problem is that the Bible is mostly focused on the Middle East and most Western Prophecy writers have a scant understanding of the Middle East demography, sectarian rifts and religious aspirations in the region. It is not only the Prophecy analysts that always fall into this weakness, but also political and government analysts who are always screwing up more than they resolve matters.
If in doubt, just look at the results of U.S. policies in the region; Syria, Iraq, Libya and Egypt as a result of U.S. policies are all in a big mess and there is no end in the horizon for the U.S. to be able to repair the damage. While many blame Obama, I can also give several examples in which Carter messed up during the Iranian Revolution, Reagan messed up in Afghanistan (he gave stingers to the Mujahideen who later became the Taliban)....

Your misinterpretation of my very simple statement that the end result (salvation, and God’s Kingdom) will be wonderful tells me that you have a reading comprehension problem. That tends to make me think you might be wrong about other things you’ve read.
Your brusk manner in attacking someone you don’t know tells me you have a problem with “telling the truth in love”.
Your characterization that I have called God a liar is beyond the pale. If I am wrong, it is because of a misunderstanding, not because I think God is a liar. I am mature enough to admit that I do not know everything that God will bring about. And don’t give me the canned answer that it is plain for all to see - many theological scholars more intelligent than either of us have disagreed for many years over the exact unfolding of the end time.
Your manner does not attract civil discussion. If you are saved, I’ll see you in Heaven, brother, because I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and He died for my sins. He didn’t say I had to properly lay out the end times in order to get there.

I think Christians understand all that Jesus wants them to....problems develope when “more” becomes the driving force of false religions and cults who are never satisfied with knowing Christ and trusting in Him.
Further they make Christ’s clear revelation as complicated as possible in order to deceive the innocent. They do so because it works to reel in those they want to recruit to their cause.
The enemy of men’s souls is the Master of confusion.....and He has many who ‘need’ intellectual superiority to feel significant.....his favorite targets and easily deceived.

Don’t you think Yeshua wanted all to know when he gave us the numbers of days between the events? He really didn’t try to hide the pattern from those that believe him; he gave us all we need to know if we think it out methodically.

yes — steer clear of people who think they can determine the day or hour of the end. If the Son doesn’t know then certainly no mortal can know. We should live our days as if any minute the end is upon us because we truly have no way of knowing. We really don’t need to know.

Jesus did not know the time when he was on earth in the flesh, however I suspect he knows now that he sits on the right hand of God the Fathers throne?

I don’t think that is the case as the “Son” is not confined to Jesus’ human existence. The trinity is the father, son and holy spirit, right? Jesus was stating this as an example of something the father knows that the son does not know.
Just commenting and not trying to argue either. After all none of us fully understand all of these things. It is a mystery. :-)

You are partially correct. However, Christ expressly names “The Father,” “The Son” and “The Holy Ghost.” Scripture does not make them three in one, that is a construct. Their exact nature seems to be a mystery.
