I don’t know if these sink sprayers still exist, but...

If you have one of those sprayers beside your faucet, tie a same color twist-tie around the level and point the nozzle straight out towards the person that will turn on the faucet.

Since many of them are black, electrical tape works well.

For a while I had a sprayer that the trigger would stick on and it would do that randomly to people when they turned the water on. I complained about it for a while and then when it got hubby good he fixed it.

Yeah, my kids pulled that on me one year. I was mad, but they all laughed their heads off, so it turned out ok. Of course, it was their father who taught them how to do it successfully.
