I blame the TV programming that portrays policing as ‘The Gunfight at the OK Coral’...young people are VERY impressionible.... TV plays too much of a role.

In the past, police were the best of the best from outside the force and everywhere.

If you lived in Cleveland, like I do, you wouldn't be blaming TV programming. Cleveland police fired 130+ shots at unarmed driver and passenger. Can't help but wonder if any of these cops were once sweet, clean cut kids who became tainted by the demands of police work.
