Compliments RLH for picking a very important verse in Philippians.

...and given him a name which is above every name

And the name given Yeshua " was a metonymic of Yahweh's personal name "יהוה".

There is much more to this name business than we were ever led to believe. Seems about the middle of the 3rd century when the Hebrew characters for Yahweh were starting to be left out of lessor/newer copies of the Greek Septuagint, which is reported to have used the Hebrew characters to when mentioning Yahweh.

Some say by the 4th century, Yahwah's sacred name was completely omitted due to adoption of the Jewish tradition and Talmudic laws that the name "ineffable" (not to be said).

It's a fact that the "Iēsou (Jesus)" is a Greek pseudonym (Lord) used as a substitute for the Hebrew name " (Yahusua)," and the word "Cristou (Christ)" is not a personal name but a Greek substitution for the Hebrew title "מָשִׁיחַ" (Messiah).

Knowing the actual names and their proper pronunciation is much more important than those in western churchianity even begin to know. It's the reason in the opinion of many as to why the Pharisees forbid the common people from uttering them. The significance is there in the scriptures for those who carefully look for it.

Are you trying to tell us that the Greek manuscripts we have today are corrupted and not the inerrant word of God as given by the Holy Spirit?
