I'm the “bum”???? You fuss and moan about everyone attacking your idol Michael Rood instead of listening to what he teaches, yet here you are attempting to do the same thing. You are a hypocrite. Why don't you do what others have done with Rood's stuff and address what you think is incorrect in what the article about the Shem Tov says. You are sadly mistaken if you think you can get away with playing that kind of game here.

Unless you assume that Jesus and all the apostles were unilingual and writing to an exclusively Hebrew-speaking audience, then there is no mystery about the appearance of a Greek NT. Since at least two of the NT authors were educated men (Luke, a physician, and Paul, a rabbi) and it is not beyond the pale that the remainder were also bilingual or even trilingual, I reject your assumption. Having been raised in a one language country, most Americans don't really have a clue about how multi-lingual the rest of the world is.
Almost everyone I know who is an immigrant or has been overseas, reports that it is not uncommon at all to know a minimum of two languages fluently, sometimes three. Or two fluently and three or more at a conversational level.
Now, of course, I have no doubt that Jesus could have fluently spoken any language He chose. But I would not be surprised at all to know that even the Jews in Israel in His day knew more than Hebrew and Aramaic.

Is Nehemiah Gordon a believer in Yeshua/Jesus (or however you want to say His blessed name)? Watch his presentation that I wasted all my time creating a table of contents for you.
And my "claims" are not baseless but backed up by Biblical scholars that DO follow Jesus Christ.
Like this idiot? You MUST be kidding...
Can you understand, perhaps, why Greek was the common language of the people of Judea and Galilee as well as the other regions of that part of the world?
Obviously you didn't look at the last link I sent you either. I'm beginning to believe any attempt to provide you with evidence that contradicts your already made-up mind is a complete waste of time.

address what you think is incorrect in what the article about the Shem Tov says I'm not spending time reading that idiot's take on Shem Tov's manuscript. The man is a loon...
"Here's another silly James Lloyd comment. In this brilliant statement, "Professor Lloyd" announces that the earth "presently spins at 66,600 MPH". Pretty funny James! Since the circumference of the earth is only about 24,000 miles, this means that each week on planet earth is less than 3 hours long! James has admitted in the past that he has trouble with "Timing"..."Funny how that math keeps working out".
In this 2 minute 14 second clip from February 15, 2005, James Lloyd intimates that (all laws of nuclear physics aside) the planet Saturn will be "ignited" and become a "new sun". "We're going to tell you more when we come back" so break out your tinfoil hats and stay tuned for more! Not mind control?
What were you even thinking? Are you that desperate that you need to post such utter garbage?? Click on the link above to see a well put together expose' on this Hebrew manuscript scholar you've found.
And you call me a hypocrite...

See, bb. We overestimated Errant’s age as well.

>>Thus the 'words written in red' have to have precedence.<<
Thats an obvious blatant denial of the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in what the apostles wrote.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Trying to reduce what the Holy Spirit inspired the authors of scripture to write is denying the words of the Holy Spirit putting them in less regard. The truth is that ALL of scripture is the words of Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
To be consistent you would have to reduce the writings of the Old Testament in their entirety and give them less credibility. If you believe that what the authors of scripture wrote are not ALL the words of Jesus then you are left with nothing but the words of man.

>>What one person call a "stumbling block", an honest person calls "the truth!" <<
That one person was the Holy Spirit who called them a stumbling block. I would suggest He was a the honest person.

I thought you were not a follower of Rood. Yet nearly every post of your so called authority goes back to Rood or one of his associates.

>> but common sense tells us they would have first written down their accounts in their native tongue<<
Common sense tells us the Holy Spirit would have them write in the language that would reach and relate to the largest possible audience which would be Greek.
