Thank You, TJI

Of course... well, it’s mostly amateur porn. You know the stuff that 250 lb. middle aged people film thinking its da sexy. Serves the NSA right. Hopefully they’ll all go blind watching it.

Yet you posted numerous “likes” on the biggest market research tool on the planet?

Face it, Facebook now has a pretty good idea on your personal tastes. Which they SELL to ANYBODY. And it didn’t even cost them one red cent because you volunteered the info.

Not busting your chops, but I never understood why people do that.

Good luck though.

“The only thing I’d hit is a brick wall. It is not my custom to frequent - how should we say - unsecured search engines.”

I am not sure what you mean, but for search engines, I use only Startpage.com, “the world’s only private search engine.”

As for Facebook, it is the daily activity for my wife and all of her friends. The girls LOVE FB. While I did open a Facebook account some years ago, I rarely use it. I opened it only for old friends that might be looking for me.

I wouldn’t worry about. Although I haven’t read that particular book, I never base my reading choices on others opinions. Odd how you really liked this book and then suddenly a change in opinion.

Facebook does not want you to do it. So it is a MANUAL process.

Grease monkey has some scripts that you can install to do it.
But Facebook revises their code so they stop working as soon as they find them.

But you could revise that starting code.

But otherwise, it is a slow tedious process.

-— and even then, Facebook still has them. Some users have complained about deleted stuff ‘reappearing’

From the home page, click on “Edit Profile” (upper-left corner, just under your name).

Click on the button that says “Activity Log”.

Click on the word “Likes” (left-hand column).

This will show you every time you “Liked” something. You can then go to each item and unlike it.

I don’t know if there is an easier way.

You’re welcome.

Wait ... you don’t like to use unsecured search engines but you use Facebook and have clicked “like” hundreds of times?

Interesting.

First, do you know how to find them?

A) go to your Facebook

1) go to your Facebook page (click on your name in top left)

2) top right corner, press ‘activity log’

3) lower right, press ‘likes’

4) then start deleting. One by one.

“The only thing I’d hit is a brick wall. It is not my custom to frequent - how should we say - unsecured search engines.”

Get the TOR browser, then browse whatever you wish. Given the government’s proclivities these days everyone should be using it.

I did give a helpful suggestion. :-)

I have no idea on how to mass remove Facebook likes, it’s sure not directly available from Facebook. Others have pointed out some possibilities. I largely avoid Facebook myself.
