A current active duty soldier and Iraq War veterans target practice with an air rifle landed him in hot water this week.
The soldier was shooting at a target he setup on the side of his home with an air rifle. One of the projectiles (likely a BB or pellet) struck the glass at an under construction home nearby. Its unclear if a ricochet was to blame or if it was a bad miss.
Unfortunately for the soldier, a Homeland Security agent who was a potential buyer of the home was inside it at the time. He called in an active shooter situation to local authorities. Wonder how far we are to the point where such things automatically get you shot?
Not one word in the article about The Homeland Gestapo Agent being CHARGED with making a False 911 Call? nor about how much money he will be required to PAY BACK to the Citizens for said FALSE CLAIM?? And why would he not be charged with Domestic Terrorism?? His Direct Claims led to hundreds of children being terrorized by Armed Gestapo Agents.
It wasn’t his window. He was in an unfinished house that obviously still belonged to the developer. If the onsite sales guy wasn’t in the house with him and he wanted to let that guy know about it, that wouldn’t have been unreasonable. Then that guy (in effect the owner) could decide to call or not. There obviously was no great hazard, so it was just a matter of some minor property damage, that the developer might try to handle directly with the guy before involving the police. People handle car crashes involving thousands in damage without feeling the need to call the cops.
Texas?
lol...
This is hysterical. When I was a child, such an incident might have resulted in a black-and-white stopping by to tell the fool to knock it off.
