The use of the pronoun "that" rather than the proper pronoun "who"as things, such as a computer, refrigerator, or cattle(?) cannot be awarded academic degreesimplies that a thing as well as a person can promote their goals. . . or are these people just grammatically challenged?
Perhaps this goes along with the catering company worker that filed suit against its employer in Oregon last week because it did not want to be referred to by any gender designating pronoun? Pronounism oppression?
