What is interesting is when some folks claim "the original Hebrew" they actually mean the version coming out of the Babylon captivity. The Hebrew Moses had to work with looked much like this:
Notice the symbol for "El." Ever wonder why Aaron et. al. came up with the golden 'calf' actually 'bull?'
