I don’t my son to spend his college years screwing around, so if some women want to completely avoid him (and other men), I’m happy with that!
If he runs into someone of this kind as an instructor, I hope he’ll have the common sense to just keep his mouth shut and turn in the required work ... but common sense isn’t his strong point. I’m very anxious about the whole thing.
My son lucked out by landing an advisor who is smart and knows which profs target young male athletes.
He has had to take some inconvenient night classes at her urging - but I trust her judgement.
He'll learn.
That's what he is there for.
