Ain’t that the truth.
Chill, FRiend. I told you my comment wasn’t aimed at you, but rather at the whole thread. I do, indeed, have a sense of humor, which is why I keep reading this absurd thread.
There have been very long and very productive research threads over the seven or so years of this sad saga, and much info has come from them. This thread just seems to be pointless and strange, but maybe I’m just too dense to understand the finer points (none of which seem to connect).
One observation, and it pertains to just about all the posters on this thread, you included. Have you noticed how everyone is on a short fuse? Doesn’t much matter what is posted, it gets snark in return (which is why I generally keep quiet. Much too old and tender to get yelled at and blasted for expressing an opinion.)
I’ve had about as nuch SUBUD as I can stand, thanks. I think you might as well start focusing on how that cult evolved from sufi-islam and ‘spiritual Java’ which seems to me to be a hybrid of Hinduism and some ancient chinese lore thrown in. This fakir invented nothing new, like all cult leaders, all he’s done is blended some things that may have been original with his own estimation of himself as something ‘special’ - and all he was, was a disgusting little Indonesian sufi-muslim with an ability to attract silly white people and extract money from them.
There’s no holy grail to be found chasing Subud followers imo, they were all ‘opened’ to stupidity - you might as well chase a bunch of Moonies. They all think they have the power to change the world, and probably cling together like the good little helpers they are when it comes to furthering their cause.
Result: Fuddy would have done whatever she was asked to do if she thought it would serve the cult, which suggests that there’s some connection between the real parents of zero and Papak, and the seat of that has to be in Indonesia.
There’s one person who would have the key to all of this. It’s Alice Dewey. And she’s not going to tell you.
Seems to me that’s why understanding the political history of Indonesia during the period from the late fifties to the overthrow of Sukarno, the great friend of Malcolm X, is so important.
That’s the one. Photographed at an event in February, 1962, in the publication of NOI’s magazine for April, captioned:
and the young listened.
The event was a speech by the sainted resurrected Malcolm X, who planned to take the US of A before the World Court for reparations, in the form of a STATE for coloured people, and if they didn’t achieve that, then he recommended a Mau Mau style uprising.
(But I mustn’t say that, he was a great civil-rights activist, wasn’t he?)
And sunni muslim convert.
Who attended the Bandung Conference hosted by Sukarno in Jakarta in 1955.
Let's imagine for a moment that several people the kenyan went to university with in Hawaii, and some of the professors, and maybe some union members to whom he lectured, belonged to that cult. The majority would have been socialists. Some were outright communists. Alice Dewey, the granddaughter of John Dewey, certainly would have been, she's recently been quoted saying, in Indonesia, that zero was doing his best to destroy the evil of capitalism. Now, factor in that some of these people were cult members and some attended, like Feldman said, the Unitarian Church. From all of this, you need to be able to state your focus. What are you looking for?
Another view point of the man just for reference:

It’s too bad that tone of voice and body language is impossible on this forum, because then I wouldn’t inadvertently offend. I’m sorry. I should learn to take more time and choose words more carefully.
Again, I was joking in response to your comment about my original joking, and I did note that you said you weren’t talking about me in particular, but surely you included my comment in the “bizarre”ness of it all.
Anyway, I didn’t mean to blast or yell at you but just point out to everyone reading that I was making light of a serious situation because there’s not much left to us.
As you noted, we’ve been at this for seven years or so. In all that time, we’ve probably found and discussed just about whatever there is to find (except when the story changes again, which is often).
Now we’re repeating ourselves to people who seem to be new to this particular game. So some of us get frustrated and tired and short tempered, but I didn’t mean to come across that way, because that’s not how I felt. My original comment was a joke and that’s why I put the smiley face in there.
This thread has certainly devolved into strangeness and pointlessness. I agree.
I’m probably older than you, btw. :)

Did you read the article? Do you understand what the discussion and disagreement was about?
It’s this kind of response from you that makes it almost impossoble to take anything you contribute seriously.
It’s a discourse of a foreign political nature. Totally unrelated to the subject of this thread.
The subject matter under discussion.
Fuddy would have done whatever she was asked to do if she thought it would serve the cult, which suggests that theres some connection between the real parents of zero and Papak, and the seat of that has to be in Indonesia.
Theres one person who would have the key to all of this. Its Alice Dewey. And shes not going to tell you.
Seems to me thats why understanding the political history of Indonesia during the period from the late fifties to the overthrow of Sukarno, the great friend of Malcolm X, is so important.
thanks for the laser-like focus -
you can take it from me, they don’t want to know, it’s more fun chasing the word Subud through the 236,000 (two hundred and thirty six thousand!) times it pops up on Google.
Reminds me of when hounds chase a scent, they smell many, many other smells, but stick to the one they’re following. Sometimes they may go off on another track for a while, then they realize they’ve lost the real scent, and turn back to the hunt.
Then there are hounds that take off into the wild blue yonder because the whole world is filled with interesting smells...and find nothing.
Yes, there are many kinds of hounds.
Did you miss
the contribution for a special project added to the su fund in Hi ( over a million)
the fact that FU D had paid down her house
the purchase of a high price house in florida using a combination of her name
the items that superimposed O insignia with Cults ( which may not have been legit but an attempt to draw attention to who the cult supports)
after reading quite a few members bio which included what I posted above plus activities in anti war anti gun peace and live rallies etc we know not guess where the club heart lies. Or how they voted.
They received government grants but where did the money go. Women issues isn’t the answer I’m hunting for but that’s what is listed at the top
Xxxxx
It’s a progressive group which has hidden from view until Fud unfortunate accident
IMO the group should be investigated and their full activities should be exposed. That the goal being it to light
Btw Fred we know exactly what subjects we can bring up with you to provide cover Thanks People dropping by to read usually just look at the pictures and don’t notice small links Works fine for us!
Hopefully well be able with others out there who are taking a serious look at this group. NOT their involvment in an air crash. But their backroom influence and possible illegal activities all done in the dark to attack the constitution
Hope to expose their real goals. $piritual not Spirit tual
Fred,
You’ve certainly made many points we agree with the hidden Islamic adagenda among many others
Just that million + special project contribution should bump them out of the tax exempt level we notated today. Off line
Thanks to all for their assistance , contributions etc
We certainly can’t post a thread with a title using our goal. That would be racist!
Now I totally understand why you wanted the thread shifted to the smokey back room.
Yes but I was taught always to consider the source. That article certainly exposes the political attitude of the source.
You had presented the quote and its source but not given back ground other than they were once friends. I just added the mans political background so we could see what political persuasion o friends have
It’s why we post links. Something from WSJ is not comparable to contents from THE GLOBE.
You posted a link to a discussion that was connected to the political views of Kiri Tith in 2011. You did this because the author was in disagreement. These disagreements will live as long as Cambodia exists, and remains a fall-out of ancient grieviances. What you are trying to do is MALIGN a man who, in the early 1960’s, was a student at the East West Centre. And you do that for no good purpose, the letter he wrote about the time he knew the kenyan student clearly shows there was no wife or child involved in the life of the kenyan in 1961.
His is not the only letter, they are ALL similar in that regard.
THERE WAS NO WIFE NOR CHILD.
Your attempt to malign Kiri Tith is a meaningless, spiteful excercise. That’s simply who you are, and evidently what you do.
Congratulations. You’ve exposed yourself, not Mr Tith.
