Best wishes for a successful day to y’all. I was going to have a choir practice this morning, but Cary called and said she was poorly, and then she said she would call Asuncion and tell her that she (Cary) had told me I shouldn’t go out this morning because I’ve been sick and need to stop doing so much. So I stayed home and read to the boys.
But now we’re going to the library to return the books and the hospital (which is near the library) to pick up Pat’s vaccination record ... but I won’t tell Cary.
I put a big pork roast in the crock pot to take to the homeless mission this evening, but after several hours, I noticed it wasn’t getting hot. Turns out I’d plugged in Bill’s coffee maker instead of the crock pot!
That's almost as bad as brewing a pot of coffee only to realize when it was done that you hadn't smelled the coffee perking. The reason? No coffee...just water. I'm sorry for the SNAFU...I just HATE when it happens.
I REALLY want to go back to bed and lie down for a bit, but I have to leave in about 15 minutes. When I get done at the doctor's, I will stop by Walmart. I need something for my throat!
When I do that with the coffeemaker, Mr. Sg thanks me for almost making the coffee.
