I was just listening to the local news and heard the female anchor say, “How about some freak ads to start your day?” I turned to look at the screen, and realized only then that she had said, “How about some FREE GAS to start your day?” as one of the local gas station/mini-store outlets is doing a yearly promotion. It was funny! I will snicker at it all day!

I could use some freak ads, too! LOL. There’s a popular rock song out, “Heaven Knows,” but one of the announcers on Sirius radio always says, “Have a nose.”

When singing with other people, my voice is strong, but there is no real quality. I’d have been dead years ago if I relied on singing for my supper. And other meals.

I found the top secret safe hideyhole where I stashed the mink oil...

Now, if the boots would finish drying out...

They have been arranged on a heat register to facilitate the process. I just turned the spit, er, rotated them about an hour ago. I'll oil the mink, er, mink the boot, er, boot the oily mink, er whatever when they reach the 'done' stage. In the interim, I'm wearing my older, retired but stored serviceable pair of boots that I have kept for such a time as this...
