I’m not sure. I just checked individual plans in Florida (not through obamacare). And the prices were unbelievable. I currently have Cigna through my employer so I checkws Cigna on the individual market. For two 60-year old non-smokers the gold plan is $1800 per month with a $6,500 deductible plus 20% out of pocket on almost everything. A hospital stay will cost you $1,000 per day for a hospital NOT of your choice. And this is the GOLD plan! It’s appalling. People should be screaming from the rafters demanding impeachment.
I’ve been saying that an unintended consequence of Bamcare kicking people off their insurance
is that folks will start paying for services directly out of necessity and free market forces will come into play.
