Get 20 children in a room under the age of 14 and ask them what Christmas is all about. Maybe on a good day one or even two of them will mention Jesus.

That certainly doesn't reflect my son or the many children I know in my life. They all know the reason for the season and Christmas is to celebrate Jesus.

I’m glad that for your son and other children you know that they know about Jesus coming into the world. That’s probably because the people you know are Christians, like yourself who have taught their children about the Lord. Sadly, this is not the case with most people. Again, get 20 kids in a room and the majority will talk about presents, the younger ones Santa Claus.

My surroundings have not made me bitter. I have been blessed by God in many, many ways, and have experienced so much answer to prayer it is astounding. Most recently, a new job with more hours and pay. Have I been through tough times? Yes, but it’s made me who I am.
