D.C. has screwed up priorities
IMHO, the Republicans have joined with the DemocRATS in the betrayal of all Americans. It makes me sick.
It ain’t just us vets, folks.
The math doesn’t make sense to me. Am I missing something obvious?
If a 1% cut means $4,000 to the average retiree, that average retiree must be getting $400,000 per year.
The coach needs to learn how to write.
whaddja ‘spect!
squirming will have all the same as a note in a bottle on the high seas!
Semper watching!

Too many retired whites...
...’why we don’t know how their going to vote.’
I wish people could make a distinction between military veterans and military retirees.
Not all veterans are retirees, but all retirees are veterans.
If you didn’t retire, you won’t get a pension to cut, so vets is the wrong term to use in the title, it should be “Betrayal of Americas Active Duty Service Members and Military Retirees”
Although Vets is a lot shorter... :-)
Alas Babylon!, USAF, SMSgt, Ret.
sorry, but coach is wrong...
if a 4000 a year cut equals 1% annual, well, my math may be wrong, but that means the average retiree gets a pension worth 400,000.00 a year....
me thinks coach needs a little book learnin’...
and this is not the first time the “coach” has been in extreme error..
Active Duty/Retiree ping.
There seems to be no stopping the Senate vote this week that will place this betrayal of our active duty and veterans into concrete law. several Republicans have already said they will give Harry Reid their vote so he will have the required 60. There was some talk of removing the provision that betrays the military, but it appears it was all bluster and lies. Several news media have reported extensively about the behind the scenes villains who engineered this back stab to military retirement. Paul Ryan is the chief culprit - he insisted on this. How does the GOP sound to everyone now?
