Betrayal n. 1. Breaking or violation of a presumptive contract, trust, or confidence that produces moral and psychological conflict within a relationship amongst individuals, between organizations or between individuals and organizations. It may be a complete break from previously decided upon

A Nation will be judged by the Way it treats its Veterans… – “George Washington

The collection of Democrats and their cowardly collection of lapdog, establishment Republicans compromised to create a Mickey Mouse budget. One provision of the budget deal was to reduce the cost of living adjustment of military retirees by 1 percent each year. Previously the retiree cost of living adjustment was linked to the annual adjustment in Social Security payments. A one percent cut on the average retiree will be around $4,000 a year and can easily add up to over #80,000 about the time they reach retirement age some 20 years later. Once again the government broke its promise to military retirees. Last time it was the loss of free medical benefits during the Clinton administration. Establishment Republicans did nothing to help active duty soldiers or retirees and their families concerning healthcare. The increase in Medical fees at a rate greater than inflation, as voted by the congress, will be another kick in the rear from unappreciative politicians while they protect the low information EBT card carrying prostitutes.

Health Care

Not only have establishment Republicans done anything to help active duty military or retirees and their families with healthcare, they actually have a history of trying to force retirees out of the Tricare program. It is only a matter of time before a Republican starts pushing a plan to require retiree and dependents into ObamaCare. They will have no choice–unlike government workers who are represented by a union/lobbyists.

The sources just threw out the $4000 with no explanation. Several lobbyists used the 1% reduction per year stretched over a period of years, for example $400 for one year will compound to $800 the next tear and 1200 the year after that, etc, etc… The $4000 figure as an average figure by lobbyist showing the average cost over a span of years.

I don't give a damn what the amount is - they shouldn't take a nickel from our military retirees - they earned it by virtue of their service and sacrifice - but for that service and sacrifice we would be in chains - which is exactly where this benighted regime is taking us!

America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

There seems to be no stopping the Senate vote this week that will place this betrayal of our active duty and veterans into concrete law. several Republicans have already said they will give Harry Reid their vote so he will have the required 60. There was some talk of removing the provision that betrays the military, but it appears it was all bluster and lies. Several news media have reported extensively about the behind the scenes villains who engineered this back stab to military retirement. Paul Ryan is the chief culprit - he insisted on this. How does the GOP sound to everyone now?
