Sincerely one of the most illegal alien infected states in the nation. Nothing compared to California. The ones who come to Texas, as opposed to just passing through to more liberal states, came to WORK, and they do. Welfare in Texas Bites, as it should. Of course Texas is the shortest route from most of Mexico to anywhere else, save the west coast and some inter-mountain states.And of course other border states. But Texas has a much longer border with Mexico than any other state, so more cross here. Plus the climate isn't exactly conducive to long walks in the Sun in most places along the border.
