It does not matter if our nominee is 100% conservative, 90% conservative or 50-50 conservative. They will all lose in general if the candidate is dumb politically, has the charisma of a sick and old turtle and can not fight hand to hand combat with the democrat opponent.
McCain, Romney, Akin, Mourdock, Sharon Angle, O’Connell, etc all lost because they were afraid to call a spade a spade, or make idiotic statements to media.
Just give a smart politician, who is quick witted, and is not afraid to counter-jab. Enough of these mellow republicans who were afraid to call Obama the lying community organizer.

It is as long as Karl Rove lives, that his “Captain Ahab” moment, is to do anything negative, to anything that even whispers “Sarah Palin”.
He IS the GOP-e. HE needs to be put out to pasture, shipped out to The Lesser Antilles, or The Canary Islands, with the sole purpose of measuring the crack in the Earth there.

Hey, do you not recall when all FReepers were referring to Rove as magnificent b..tard ? What happened to all the love? He had the audacity to say something that was disputed. Eventually, one herd grew larger than the other and threw him under the bus (so to speak).

According to writers Steve Peoples and Thomas Beaumont, Groups such as American Crossroads [run by Karl Rove] and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce no longer are willing to risk major investments on hard-line conservatives who embarrassed GOP leaders last fall and rattled the confidence of party donors.
Good, then when they win anyway, there will be no favors owed.

Karl Rove and the establishment types can't make it without us.
If we split the conservative/republican vote, we won't win either.
Somewhere we have to form an alliance with them. We have much in common with them, especially the need to get the Marxists out of the government.
If they control the 47% which includes minorities, many women, Marxists, tramps and thieves.
We must not allow a split to let them win with a plurality.

"Unlike previous cycles, we won't be sending good money after substandard candidates with weak campaigns."
Actually last cycle you pulled money from Cuch five weeks before the election where he lost my a small margin.

Christie is moderate at best and Mark Kirk in Illinois is also a moderate. Both have won elections. Paul Ryan is more illegal amnesty and he has been winning in Wisconsin.
Winning is what matters. If our lousy candidates did not blow easy to win elections in Indiana, Missouri, Delaware and Nevada, Obamacare would have never passed. Obamacare is the biggest killer of American middle class.
President Reagan’s rule is pretty wise and still applies today. We need them all to counter the leftists.
