Here’s a little factoid from my spouse, who has travelled in China:
When they serve you chicken in a restaurant in China, they put the severed head on the side of your plate.
That is to show you it is fresh, ie, slaughtered on site.
This is because Chinese don’t trust chicken from outside the restaurant’s control in China.
The vegans with whom she was traveling freaked out when the dishes came to the table with the severed heads on the side.
Yepper - the real intent is to demonstrate that all the dead dogs, from Chinese products, wasn't a fluke.
I make my own homemade soups and many times a meal is just an easy soup, sandwich-on-crusty-bread and fresh fruit-cup dinner.
I always considered store bought chicken nuggets to be breaded chicken tumors. Never had them.
I grew up in the city but we were close enough to the farm to go and get our own chickens (and yeah they were still clucking)....Different times different ways

too true. fortunately my family lives out in the woods away from most city influence. we still get our meats at the local farms

That is an ignorant statement. You need to educate yourself on what organic means....including organic meat.
I am completely educated on organic... You a)have no sense of humor and b) think that ‘organic’ somehow makes food better. Nutritionally you have been proven wrong by lots of studies. You pay more for quality that may or may not be as good.
I buy at local farms because they are closer than the grocery store
