Asbury Park, N.J. Signed, sealed, delivered.
A triumphant Chris Christie took the stage to the Stevie Wonder classic on Tuesday night after trouncing his opponent by over 20 points and propelling himself to the front of the GOPs 2016 presidential pack.
Though the 51-year-old governor addressed himself to New Jerseyans, his message was clearly aimed at Republicans across the country. Choose leaders, not lecturers; be willing to compromise; stop insisting on ideological purity, he counseled. We stand here tonight showing that it is possible to put doing your job first, to put working together first, to stand by your principles yet get something done for the people who elected you, the governor told the crowd gathered in Asbury Park.
Not known for his subtlety, Christie offered a more than a hint at his political future, inviting Washington to look to New Jersey as a model of good governance and a place where Republicans and Democrats have managed to come together to get things done. If we can do this in Trenton, maybe the folks in Washington, D.C., should tune in, Christie said, to cheers. Tonight, a dispirited America looks to New Jersey to say, Is what I think is happening really happening?

New Jersey Christie is NOT what Americans want heading the presidential ticket.
Texas success (jobs and Cruz) is.
Christie’s ego really is out of control. Sounds like he’s ready for a divine takedown.
Can’t puff him up any more.
Christie endorsed Obama last year right before the election.
No wonder he can win in NJ.
Specter could win that way in PA with the games he played and without my conservative vote.
Ted Cruz legislation involving permanent residency for illegals; http://therightscoop.com/sen-ted-cruz-also-supports-temporary-legalization-status-in-the-immigration-bill/
Texas may be on borrowed time though.
Guess they’ll have to roll out President Taft’s chair and bathtub.
And yes, the fine print: “ And even more than that, it also supported permanent legal residency status as well.”

Already happening in DC, Krispy Creme. McConnell and Boehner are working with Obama that’s why the Conservatives/Tea party activists are attacked by both parties and why spending is up, taxes are up and the debt is up.
I’m lucky, I’m in one of the 16 states ahead of Texas with lower unemployment and besides that, the minority children aren’t outnumbering the whites like they are in Texas.

Thanks for sharing - what is your state, pray tell.
Is that you Hillary!? Lol
I would rather look to Wisconsin where a true Republican governor took the battle to the Leftist and won. Where the Leftist retaliated with an attempted recall of the governor and were handed their head in a basket after spending their treasury bare.
No coattails, pathetic, empty landslide for a RINO beloved by liberals who voted dem for everything else.
Scott Walker showed a lot of character, resolve and guts, that’s for sure — and he got results.
I am a native Texan. However, I’m going to be fair, I’m not going to be posting articles about New Jersey or Virginia and berating others.
What’s your bag?
Christy reaches across the isle to get things done. In other words he gives the Leftist most of what they want t this year and the rest of what they want next year and calls it victory.
Another UniParty win.
