If I saw someone using a ballpean hammer on my neighbor’s porsche,
would I offer him a sledge hammer to do it more efficiently?
well duh, it is not fixable. once they touch this communist monstrosity, they will get the blame.
They offered ideas early on in the process. All of which were REJECTED by Reid and Pelosi.
There is no fixing a steaming turnd, you begin anew by making insurance portable across states without the minutae of state regulations. Unfortunately, our idiot “representatives” will crap a new turd.
As it is, and this is just something they’re going to have to accept,
the reason it’s going to fail is because the republicans refused to help it work.
They actually should get out in front of this “reasoning” and make a mockery of it before the left tries it.
Darn, In like how you said that. Very clear!

Excellent vanity post! That is the proper response.
They passed it without Republican input or even a single republican vote; they can fix it without republican help. Call us when you’re ready to sh*tcan the whole thing and replace it with something people want.
Here’s the fix:
1) scrap Obamacare
2) Tort reform
3) Tax free, inheritable HSAs
4) Tax free catastrophic health insurance premiums
5) Interstate insurance competition
so when the RATS begin sending us to our re-education / extermination camps, and they are not very successful at getting us to go, the Republicans should help them make the process go more smoothly, right?
I heard that one on some site in the comments the other day. Probably an Obama herd poster.
I pointed out the so called healthcare summit at the WH. The meeting where Ryan pointed out that the bill was scored in a false way and would be far more expensive and expansive. The summit was all for show to make it look as though Obama was listening. He never intended to let the Repubs have any say.
Obama picked his nose that day and told old fart McCain that “I won” again. LOL
Has the GOP ever fixed anything?
Outside of Cruz and Lee, has the GOP ever explained anything coherently? Ever?
No.
Expecting the GOP to do either of these things is kind of like expecting the sun to rise in the west.
They aren’t on our side.
There is no way to “fix” something you aren’t supposed to be doing in the first place.
The Republicans need to keep their hands off of it. If they go to tinkering around with it, THEY will get the blame when it collapses. It’s the DemocRATS’ mess. Let them own it.
Here is the snag is your “response”... You were not elected to represent some 650,000 people, you only have to act guided by your conscience, not a 200+ year old document, and your decision/actions only impact you and your neighbor, not 300+ million other people... It is impossible to “help” someone who thinks they have all the answers and refuses that help.
Excellent list. All simple to do.
I saw yesterday the Feds are now going to “allow” us to carry over $500 on our HSAs. They should provide for full carry-forward of any unused amounts. The notion of use-it-or-lose it is just plain stupid.
The state insurance commissions should butt out a lot, too. Their minimum requirements raise everybody’s costs.
