Mitch McConnell for President 2016 [and ZOT for 2013]

Mitch McConnell for Pres. 2016 and General of Counter-Terrorism for VP.

I thought you would be interested in this story I found on news.msn.com: US ambassador summoned by Germany over NSA spying ( http://news.msn.com/world/us-ambassador-summoned-by-germany-over-nsa-spying#tscptme, )

Wait a second? Didn’t Snowden first go to China? Where China and their reverse-technology, was granted the rights to reproduce the Grundig SW radio? I hear people in American jails, know how to increase the band-with of small transistor radio’s. What could China do with a Grundig or cell phone, like the Samsung knock-off.

Now didn’t Germany discredit our secrets, as found in the German newspaper?

As for France, just how long were they (like Australia in Afghanistan) going to provide there battalions, in the Syrian civil strife? Long enough to see the US weaponry as a Socialist Country? Then pull-out and leave us to boots on the ground?

Now: what about Switzerland and that $2,800.00 a month? Doesn’t that story sound familiar, as in the US $10 Million dollar theory?

What happened to our spy-plane brought down by China? If France and Germany are really worried about spying? Wouldn’t we infiltrate the Belgian Arms Race? I think they have enough to worry about, with the Saab software in Fighter Jets? Comprendee-Vous?

No. One Global Problem? Malnutrition.

Good, because first I have to take the catz to the vet. It is raining, but at least it’s not freezing!

Tom finished work on his Eagle project last weekend. He still has reports, of course, but that can wait until he finishes four essays needed for a college scholarship application.

What’s a “DOT station?” Where they store the piles of salt?

"There he is."

Looks like a painting.

(Not like a Maxfield Parrish painting, though. Maybe you should toss in some blue LEDs.)

He hasn’t shown up here just yet. The sky isn’t dark, but no sunshine, either.

I had mouse problems last night as well. One got into the house, and the cats were “playing” with it.
It was squeaking remarkably like the little squeaking toy mice you can buy at the pet food store.

They both squeak like that when the cats bat them around. I rescued the live mouse, a young one,
and not knowing what to do in 12° temperatures, I let it go in the basement. I thought it was dead.
It sat there in my hand, mouth agape, feet in the air, eyes closed. The second I put it on the floor, it
took off like a shot, the little stinker. I left it with a small pile of granola.

NO! It isn’t a possum! It’s definitely a mouse, and they play dead too. It was news to me.

It was nice of you to save a toy in the basement for your cats!

Oh, yes!

After I texted you yesterday, I tried to phone DP to ask him a question about the Cub Scouts’ schedule, and I couldn’t get through. “Network is busy.” Couldn’t call the house or his cell, couldn’t send a text. I had to call on someone else’s non-Sprint phone!

This morning I took the cats to the vet. Shannon has lost over a pound since her last appointment. Young Dr. Kaylor was pleased. They both got some shots, and now they hate us and have gone to bed. I’ve also been to Walmart.

I may have to go over to Central Piedmont this afternoon with Tom to see if we can get him registered for next semester. Blarg.

LOL!

All the mouse toys’ batteries (non replaceable) have died.

The mouse in the basement is very much alive, well, and not a cat toy. I was very surprised that it could run that fast after playing dead for five
or ten minutes after I picked it up and saved it from the cats.

The cats are not allowed in the basement. There are too many places for them to hide, and too many things to fall down on them.

Plus, when they do find a mouse, they have no idea that mouse = food. They just kill it and leave it all soggy on the floor.

The last time we went to the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot, we came home to a pitiful little dead body on the floor. The lady who was cat-
sitting for us was too grossed out to pick it up and throw it away. It isn’t as if we don’t have 50 rolls of paper towels and three 100-count boxes
of surgical gloves. She could have put on gloves and picked it up with ten wadded-up towels, but she was too ikified even to do that.

We’re probably going to board the cats next time we go away somewhere.

Our cats aren’t very good at eating their kill, either.

I hate when my phone takes a day off. It’s frustrating as the dickens.

If I feel up to it, I may start on the paint-by-number of the Nativity I got last year. I would really like to work on it, but my eyes were the problem. I just couldn’t see to paint.

It’s quite a chore, taking a pound off a cat. That’s an achievement! The katz will sleep off their mad and be ready to rock and roll before the day is over.

Yesterday, I was told I should get a cat. Hmmm... I keep thinking about it, but the expense is a little daunting at the moment.

Good luck to Tom on his next semester’s class selection.

Hee hee hee! Good morning! Mr. Sg and I divide labor: he cooks (dinner) and I clean. Last evening, he decided to apply the "one-woman-nine-months-one-baby-nine-women-one-month-one-baby" principle that a lot of tech company administrators try to use in troublesome projects. It involved an oven temp of 425F, sweet potato fries and a packaged milk-chocolate brownie mix. I tried to explain what might go wrong but he was refractory because my cookbook was in a new safe place. At one point, I did shriek, "The fries are burning!" and, at that time, the brownies were raw on the inside. I found my cookbook after the whole ordeal was over, but input without documentation is unwelcome in the gypsy kitchen. (I was no help so I can't comment on the results.) I asked if he wanted me to interfere with his heretofore brilliant culinary successes by adding salt to his creations, and he agreed with the inadviseability of that approach. We have agreed that if it's lost, it's my fault, and if it's burned, it's his fault.

I'll get that in writing.

P.S. The negotiation technique of waving the brownie box in the air and changing one's facial color to mauve was ineffective in this case.

Bummer about losing your fries. You could put ice cream on the partly-cooked brownies and call them a sauce, I suppose, but most foods aren’t good for much when they’ve been ignited.

Cats are the up-front and the ongoing cost, and you never know if one’s going to like you until it’s too late, as opposed to liking a birdie-snack.

Thank you. We salvaged about half the fries and the brownies turned out like a combination of very soft fudge or very firm pudding. Pudge? Fudding?

Have a great day, y'all!
