I came across this beautiful site featuring 360 degree views of the Church of the Holy Sepulchure and thought of sharing it with the Free Republic community.
Clicking on the page will provide a guided tour panning right as it slowly moves across the screen to complete the 360 degree panorama of the scene. At any time you can take control of the image by clicking on your mouse to view the image in any, every direction, at your leisure.
There are several images to choose from, of different views, areas, from inside the Church that you can choose from by toggling the bottom left orange "List" button.
You can view the image in any direction by using your mouse, or you you can also choose the direction by clicking on the bottom right orange "Details" button to select your viewing preferences from among the several pop-up icons. The last icon on the right toggles the screen to full screen that completely removes the browser from view. Clicking on the icon again will restore the previous view. Click on Escape to return to the Free Republic page.
Enjoy the Views!
Can’t view it:

You don’t have permission to access /kudus/kiyamet_eng/index.html on this server.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
You can also use your mouse wheel to Zoom in or out or use the icon buttons that pop-up when clicking on the orange ‘Details’ button on the bottom right. With some computers you zoom in or out by clicking your keyboard + or - key.
For those who can not view it, it is probably because you must install a 3D viewer like Cortona 3D, the download link to it is provided below or you might need Apple's QuickTime add-on QTVR.
I think once you download the Cortona 3D Viewer you should have no problem to view the link.
Please update me once you've downloaded the viewer.
Warning: Careful, it might make you “sea sick” when moving the arrows.
Thanks for the link. In many ways it offer a superior viewing experience.
Cool!
All cultures are of equal value, huh?
