We do need to be careful who we vote for because the GOPe will use all the tricks to fool you into thinking they are conservatives.
Rafael Cruz is speaking in his home town to night with Michael Berry as the introduction if I can get it I will update.
Ideally, I’d like to have a majority comprised of true conservatives but, lacking that, I’d prefer a minority of true, feisty, brave conservatives over a majority of weak, cowardly RINOs.
Good sentiment, but understand Boehner, Cantor and other leadership PAC’s fund most of the Republicans with exception of a small group of House members.
Only 15 or 20 of them had dinner with Ted Cruz..
See this post from today and go to article linked it and see the chart.

ALMOST ALL OF THEM INCLUDING MY CONGRESSMAN WHO HAD BOEHNER IN FOR A FUNDRAISER ARE FAKING CONSERVATISM AND MANAGING THEIR VOTING RECORDS TO LOOK GOOD.
I could se a new party evolving. It would be:
(1)constitutional conservatives
(2)hispanics who would like small business opportunities, thus less government and less unfair competitionn
(3)techie and young, cutting edge types who don't think Snowden's a traitor and think Obama is a joke because of the tech disaster that Obamacare is. I don't think Obama has much "cool" cred left with them
(4)veterans and their supporters.
What's the trick? Agree to disagree about the personal issues. Leave them as states rights.
I wonder if the RINOs have caught on yet to how totally fed up and sickened conservatives are with the hypocrisy about Obamacare (they SAVED it, for heaven's sake) and McCain and others obscene attacks on the conservative wing of the Republican Party.
I hope so.
One of the challenges we all face is that we don’t want these districts to go DemocRAT. And if there’s no one runing against these RINOs in primary, what are we left with? Don’t vote and that’s a vote for the DemocRAT challenger. Vote for the RINO and nothing changes. Not voting and saying to yourself that “that’ll teach them!” doesn’t turn things around in Washington.
My local State Representative Reid Ribble is as strong as a wet noodle. He voted against the conservatives, and I will not forget that. But I can’t get behind any DemocRAT that challenges him for the seat. I’m praying someone challenges Ribble on the R ticket that is a real Tea Party Conservative.
“One of the challenges we all face is that we dont want these districts to go DemocRAT” WHY NOT just WHAT is the differance? At LEAST w/ a RAT you KNOW what you are getting. With GOP-e, RINOs, BACKSTABBERS you NEVER know WHAT you are getting.
Surprised that Rubio didn’t teach anyone a lesson. Rubio was the toast of the tea party and then, voila, he is a RINO.
Same with Ayotte. We need to better vet our candidates.
I agree
I have heard the “we’ll vote the RINOs out” mantra before. Then, John McCain became the GOP nominee for president, and Linda Graham was reelected as Senator of South Carolina, etc. Without real action to take back the Republican party from the quislings who control it, I don’s see much changing.
There were Florida Freepers warning about Rubio. Too few listened.
Excellent excellent informative post.
And here is your sound out on the other thread:
