I guess I have this fear that even once I end up joining a Church, that God won’t be with me and I’ll be dead in a couple weeks one way or the other anyway. I am just talking about looking for a real chance of survival here.

“I am just talking about looking for a real chance of survival here.”

Try not to listen to Alex Jones too much. After a while, you start imagining Obama is stalking you, UN blue helmet soldiers are preparing to raid your home and you start buying Alex Jones’ survival kits and food storage equipment. One thing I love about Free Republic is that conspiracy theories get kicked to the curb. Some people exploit paranoia to earn a buck. Learn not to be one of those victims. I have a nervous personality too, but I cured it by moving to China. In China, if you’re paranoid, you won’t last one week in this country. It’s like curing your fear of snakes by touching a snake.

I hear you.

But, you can’t just join a survival community. Those communities are made up of people who trust each other. I don’t belong to one, but I know people I trust who could create one.

Do you see what I mean?

Go somewhere. Make friends, and do not discount God. Why should He abandon you? Do you think, that He makes an imperfect being and expects them to be perfect? NO! He just expects them to honestly strive for it.
