That translates as 155 million people across the land who will follow Odinga into the gaping gates of the gulag.

I'm afraid you are right, just look at the violence and horror and loss that Liberals like Amanda Kijera, or the families of Rachael Corrie, Amy Elizabeth Biehl and Nick Berg went through and instead of blaming the perpetrators and/or their policies they instead still blame Bush, Conservatives and/or YT.

The armored personnel carriers and billions of rounds of ammo are not for trying to qwell riots, they are for moving and cleaning up what is left after the planned starvation, chaos, disease, and murdering have run their courses. People believing that a few thousand MRAPs and a few billion rounds of pistol ammo will be used to stop rioting and mayhem are completely clueless as to the real agenda afoot.
The one thing communists plan on is community organizing in that they expect millions will follow their orders, fall in line, and help them. They know they cannot control the nation on their own or just by using local or military resources. They know they must have the cooperation of millions of like minded communists. Force multipliers are a must with these communists. One agent sent in to create block captains and other “officials” are necessary.
They don’t need the deaths of millions to control the population. They only need the threat of extreme force to keep 90% of the people in check.
“They” cannot control a collapse, yet “they” are orchestrating it. With evil, starvation, disease, and murder are the agents of ‘change’, change like little barry bastard boy-king promised. When there is no food being produced, trucked and distributed, the notion of force multipliers is absurd. Look at the Ukraine under Stalin. And that was without a collapse of the Soviet.
This is correct and why troops will be ordered not to fire on the city mobs. Those mobs need to fan out to the suburbs to maintain the state of emergency. In many respects, the mobs are co-belligerents with the administration, the enemies within the gates.
Another thought, what if this is a perfect plan? Nobody thought Boner, McLame, and Linda would stand up to the prez. Why are they? Remember their little private lunches and dinners? What did they talk about? Could it be putting this plan together. A while back the tinfoil hat crowd said something big was going down the first week of October. Yes. There will always be some bankers that still have skin in the game but the majority in power have taken their prize and left. I don’t see the extremely wealthy and powerful giving a damn about what happens now.

What I don't get is, where will they (top tier global elites) live when the world is in ashes? Even if they have a gorgeous island to retreat to, completely stocked with food and necessities for several years, they still would be dependent on food and supplies being flown in from various countries once their stash runs out. If countries are in flames (and this most likely would spread like wildfire worldwide) how could they possibly last more than a year or two at most, while they wait for farms and factories to start again? Are they just so sure that the US federal government will be able to quickly clamp down and turn the US into a police state before much chaos insues? I just don't understand what they could possibly be thinking, how this could ever be a good thing for the "elites".

Your essay is plausible. obama and the dems are systematically smearing the Tea Party in terms of criminality. I do not recall any previous president speaking in such terms. (I watched obama’s speech yesterday, and he compared the Tea Party/Republicans to various types of criminals at least a dozen times.) We are in uncharted territory, at least for the USA. All patriots should prepare for the worst.
