Why do you think SUVs and 4x4 pickups have been demonized all these years? It's not for the gas mileage! If you own a 4x4 you don't NEED a highway to E&E (Escape & Evade) from a tyrant. It's the very definition of an "off road" event. This also ties into gun control. If you have no way to get to the remote hunting grounds you have no further use for your long range sniper deer rifle! Bambi can therefore rest easier. So can the tyrant.
I don't think it is Pyrrhic at all. The Obama police force will not be dispatched to the cities but the military will and ordered not to fire. The DHS is going to the enemy heartland, the suburbs and small towns to protect them. That means seizing firearms. The food crisis in the city will be solved by food seizures in the suburbs. That is where Obama wants the war and will claim he has law and order on his side, as well as compassion for the "poor" city dwellers.
We already watched our own Reichstag fire and Krystalnacht. When the powers allowed/decided Lehman Bros collapse it ushered in Obama. Mccain/Palin was up ten pts at the time. Then Fannie and Freddie acting as national toxic mortgage drug lord, the resulting home devaluations led to the many stimulus type increases in government power. History books will detail these events but our kids are not hearing any of this now in school.
If you read the comments on any news story from ABCCBSNBCFOX websites there is a common theme amongst the left to arrest and imprison decenters of Obama’s policies on sedition and treason.
You make a compelling case. One could argue that the puzzle pieces are being aligned for such a possibility.

One can see that over the past number of years the Left has grown in their agitation and expressions of inflicting physical retribution upon their countrymen they do not agree with. We have seen this behavior in other countries throughout history. Like a steam kettle, I am concerned that this evil passion is building among Leftists.
My money is on them finding a way to blame conservatives, Republicans, Christians, rural people, white people or some combination thereof.
Look at Detroit. They turned it from one of the most vibrant cities in America to a sh*thole in a single generation with their own people completely in charge. They've learned nothing. See Proverbs 26:11.

In another thread on FR concerning Benghazi Barry, the article mentioned the “surprise visit”, yet everyone was commenting on something else.
The mere mention of a “surprise visit” by Benghazi Barry to the FEMA Area in the article made the hair on my neck stand up. (I have tried to find the thread but can’t remember the title, and I couldn’t find much else on the “visit”.)

The major pieces, the military and DHS/TSA are in place and aligned. I seriously doubt American troops would fire on American citizens, so an order not to fire on city mobs would not present a moral problem. I believe, maybe incorrectly, that most people who go into the military do it primarily for patriotic reasons. The DHS/TSA types are completely different. I believe they do it for the money and power trip. They would not hesitate to knockdown doors and search residences while holding citizens at gun point. I think Boston and TSA behavior in general has proved that.
