Wonderful. The reports say a million bikers showed up, but only about 20-200 Muslims, depending on where you look.
But the thing that is so heartening is that Americans are feeling pride in their country again, and a renewed willingness to take it back.
I think this has exceeded all expectations, and last I heard, permits were issued because it was faster than letting them block all lanes of traffic, waiting for lights to change.
This is such a tribute to the Fallen Heroes, not just on 9/11/2001 and 9/11/2012, but for all the men and women who have been involved in fighting terrorism for the last 50 years. But the screen has been kinda blurry at times...
And THANK YOU, Jim, for this wonderful opportunity to share American Patriot Pride!

West bound and down, turning East real soon and trucking.
Today has been a day of doing what had to be done.
We came a long way today America and we'll be back if need be!
West bound, watching America Never Run!
Salute!

Thank you. Back from dentist. Screen is too blurry to continue looking after welfare of our bikers. Muslims numbered 25 according to Mr. Sg. Be back later when I can see again. Still praying.

"What was your solution?" The solution is a work in progress. I've said it could probably take a book to explain how this situation came to be, and the stages of solutions I have devised to resolve it.
I even gave that hypothetical book a title, "The Busy Corner".
For a glimmer of what I'm dealing with, consider this: I just finished building a supporting wall in the basement level, to supplant and replace the other supporting walls that will have to go at some point. The spacing between walls is almost non-existent.
That point was driven home to me in observing this mess from above. The various separate walls, built at different times for different reasons, by separate generations of people, look like a solid floor.

My Tears Obscure
My tears obscure the vision,
Our flag out on display.
Another hero will come home,
And rest here on this day.
I need to clean my glasses,
They fog up now and then.
It seems to happen often,
And here it is again.
It should always rain for funerals,
It helps to hide our tears,
The dignity, and somberness,
Allay our many fears.
Will I be brave when my turn comes,
Or has it been, and passed?
I know that I could stand to cry,
When He comes home at last.

Eyes Lift Up
In the collapse of those two towers,
Some saw a nation fall.
But what we lost was innocence,
Theyll see we can stand tall.
We reached up once and touched the moon,
And showed the world a way,
That man could reach out for the stars,
And leave his feet of clay.
Some do not choose to rise with us,
Theyre bound so to the Earth,
They wish to make us fall down, too,
And let dreams die before their birth.
It may be that our feet are soft,
Our will is made of steel,
To those who love the dirt so much,
The command will ring out. Heel!
To balance out the lives we lost,
A new thing has been born,
We dont know where the path will end,
That started Tuesday morn.
Our striving is for upward,
The glow of Heaven calls,
Snares and stumbles will not stop us,
Nor will any of our falls.
The fall of towers, fall of men,
The fall of years we have to spend,
As long as life and love rise up,
We do not care where it will end.
Our gaze is fixed upon the stars,
With vision of a Heaven firm,
Well lift ourselves as freedom soars,
And leave the dust to dreamless worm.
