something like that
originally I thought a slice was missing
To: GeronL
It could be missing. Do you have your pizza cut into nine pieces?
I always have them cut mine into six pieces. I just can’t eat eight.

"Mind games." Sure. What's the use of having a mind if you can't play with it?
It would be like carrying around a pocket full of lint for no reason.

It would be like carrying around a pocket full of lint for no reason. And what reasonable person would do that? It would be like leaving a check on the coffee table in front of a dog who compulsively shreds papers.

Now wait a minute. That check wasn’t made out to the dog.

The card wasn’t addressed to her, either.

At this early hour (for me) I can say that my day was made irrepressibly better by the comedic repartee of one TC and one NnB...
I really need to get control of myself before I fall out of my chair!
It’s 52 degrees outside, and yesterday, I had to break out the space heater to get the room warm. Maybe I can break out some winter clothes today. Or tomorrow. *shudder*

Help yourself to the free repartee ... but you’ll have to fight a cat if you want pizza.
Getting down to the final revisions on Tom’s paper. Sally says she’s too dizzy to get up. Is it the medication, or is she malingering? She’s always got some reason that she should spend most of the day in bed!

The new check is in the mail. I’m not going to do this a third time!
What did I do with the tax bill for the van. I just had it!

I have a daughter who was just like Sally when it came to excuses to stay in bed.
If Sally has taken the meds, it could be that the dosage is too high for her. Antihistamines can make you dizzy. And lethargic. Younger children are often given Benedryl as a tranquilizer, as it makes them sleepy and slows them down.

Did you put the tax bill for the van in the same envelope with the check to Anoreth?

That’s a possibility. The dosage was a single tablet, and she’s a full adult size, almost 140 lbs. and, we noticed, rather taller than I am. It did say dizziness was a possible result, but it’s been more than 12 hours since she took it.
In other news, Epic Fail’s English paper is almost done. Mostly fixing ordinary typso now.

No, the check went in an envelope all by itself. However, I might have dropped the tax bill near the drawer when I was getting an envelope out. Unnngh.

Some people have stronger reactions to drugs than others do, so just watch Sally each time she takes a dose. The doctor may want to change or adjust the meds.
I hate fixing my own typsos, mostly because I can’t recognize them... But you know that...:o|
I got all my summer clothes off the hangers and folded, and the hangers in a pile. I will, after I take my pills, go back in and get the tubs containing the winter clothes, and put them on hangers. I think this time, I’m going to be giving away some things I’m just tired of looking at.
My right leg is hurting. I’m going to put a sock on it...
