On the mac it’s dead easy, click on the special characters icon on the toolbar, select the character and paste, or use the option key and one other key to select a given common one.

Even simpler in windoze, just remember the 4 digit unicode for the character and enter it along with the 2 (or was it 3?) character sequence needed to tell the system it’s unicode...

I have no Mac...
And I can’t remember my pills half the time, and I take them twice a day, so I really don’t think I’d have much luck remembering how to do symbols. Me. The only person in the history of one of the Norrell Temp offices in LA to score 100% on WordPerfect 5.0/5.1 and Lotus 1-2-3! LOL!

The rain has stopped, so I went to Walgreen’s to get some batteries for my BP cuff. I went out to find my neighbor across the way had parked as close to my truck as she could get and still get out of her car. Over the line. I have no idea what her problem is, but she is forcing me into the spot to my left, and he can’t go far because of the curb.

She may be getting evicted, so I can only hope she is gone soon for whatever reason.

It’s raining here, too. Temperature in the ‘70’s. Been raining since 3AM, so its’ good and wet out there. Got me out of a couple of Baby’s honey-dos she had lined up, but I still need to hit the Wal-Mart and Frys. I think I’ll be going solo today, because the rain and Baby’s newly-installed plate and screws in her arm are not going to be up to it....

At least I got the lions share of the laundry done while it was still dry yesterday. Now I need to pick out what yummy thing from Omaha Steaks to scarf today. We didn’t get any steaks because we still have a lot, but we managed to blow $$$.

I have decided the way to deal with boorish rude people is to not stoop to their levels. She is probably a liberal, and the extent of her damage-doing abilities will be extensive.

So I will make a written complaint, but stress that I have not confronted her because I don’t want my tires slashed. I don’t have comprehensive insurance to cover something like that.

Back when I was working, I would get Omaha Steaks about every 6-8 weeks. I’m SUCH a carnivore! I miss being able to do that, but there are a lot of things that are a little more important. I’ll eat hamburger... and like it. ;o]

I’m sorry to hear about Baby’s newly-installed plate and screws...that’s gotta be painful. I hope the rain eases so her pain is also eased!
