A RECIPE? You mean, FOOD? As in something GOOD?? YAY!!!
What? What is Ubuntu?
*she asks, in a confused manner*
It’s not that bad, thank goodness
Since these might cost 25 cents each when you buy 100 at a time, you might need to borrow one. :p
As long as you don't INSTALL your Windows will still be perfectly safe.
Some people simply keep one as a back-up should Windows fail.
I realized just too late that once we put the caramel sauce on the brownies, there was no way we could wrap them up for sale without making a sticky mess, so I texted DP and asked him to get ice cream. Still don’t know if they’ll stick in the pan. I put them in the refrigerator to firm up.
Waiting for a taste...
Linux is not for beginners, although getting a bootable CD is not at all difficult. It’s handy to have if your OS gets gacked (A common MS problem, it seems). It will allow you emergency access to your files. The thing that keeps me from using it as a primary OS is that most of the software I need to use isn’t ported to Linux. It’s either Mace or Windoze.
Mace = Mac. I have s/w named “Mace,” but it’s only ported to UNIX, not Linux. Sigh.
Very practical.
I gots my spoon and napkin! And here comes a recipe from Mrs. Liberty....
I just got a new cookbook for dump cakes. These cakes would go perfectly with Dark’s famous coffee:
PINEAPPLE-MANGO ANGEL dump cake
Serves 9 — wrong
2 cups fresh chopped mango (about two mangoes)*
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (16 oz) pkg. angel food cake mix
2 (6 oz) cans pineapple juice (1-1/2 cups)
butter spray
*You may also use chopped frozen mango, thawed
preheat oven to 350 degrees
lightly grease a deep 9”X9” baking dish
Layers
arrange mango in prepared dish
spread pineapple over mango
sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over fruit
drizzle juice over top
Bake
55-60 minutes, spritzing dry areas with butter spray and covering lightly with foil after 40 minutes to prevent overbrowning. Cool completely before serving.
Someone make this dump cake, please. Cyber hates pineapple with a passion. Tax Chick, I think your son could make this without help!
Apparently some Windows programs can be run with WINE but its tedious and annoying to get it to work.
Anoreth is allergic to mangoes. What is a “deep” 9x9 baking dish?
Deeper than normal, because there’s no way to cram a regular cake mix into one. We were just talking, and I think 13x9 would be better.
BTDT. It’s not worth the effort.
I don’t have any deeper than normal, but I have two. We could divide all the ingredients in half, like amoebae reproducing.
That confused me, too. Good catch. I imagine a 13X9 would do. It’s really ugly, but everything in it sounds so good. I think you can buy 9X9 tin baking pans that you just throw away. I have some in the pantry. I’ll measure them now. Back in a minute...
Are you planning on shipping them or something?
Couldn’t find anything that was 9X9. Cyber said you could divide like an amoeba. LOL! I think I would use a pan that I use for pineapple upside down cake. I make those for Cyber’s parents.
No. But I was going to make you a Smores dump cake. Serves 15 to 20, though. Calls for a 9X13 baking pan.
