When I retire, I do not plan on collecting SS. I am already working on not needing them.
My home is paid for, and after retirement I will be selling my home and moving.

You describe what has become the real American Dream...
That is, to be able to retire and be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects... knowing that all previous theft under color of authority under the guise of future entitlement is to be considered a complete and total loss with zero probablity of return on that “investment”.
I know I am not alone in this feeling, that everything taken against my will from me will NEVER come back to me.
Taxes? Check.
Death? Soon enough.

I admire your independent spirit. Much like our fore-fathers were. Being free of government interference is getting harder and harder today, as they get more intrusive.
For myself, I figure since I was forced to pay into SS, I will take out what I put in. Those in the top brackets pay in far more than they will ever get out, and vice versa with the lower brackets. It is heavily socialized and punishes success. (I'm in the middle bracket so should break even and not cost any taxpayers any money).
