“Zullo stated they came into new information several times that bolstered their case that found the document beyond a reasonable doubt that it was 100% forged.”
He also said this at the July 17th, 2012 press conference:
“As far as we’re concerned, our analysis of the digital portion of this document is finished.”
New information could be anything. Why revisit a settled area of the investigation unless the new information was specifically related to the digital aspects of the PDF. And if new info negated portions of your previous work. So I’m inclined to think the new info is mostly non-computer related. For example, I don’t believe they said much about the tab setting stuff in their press conferences, or talk much about fonts.
We can speculate forever about what we think they did or did not do but until we get hard confirmation, we can only go by what they have actually said they have done.
