Yes, I stated that badly. Hawaii has confirmed that the information on the COLB matches that in the offical state records (because it in turn matches what’s on the LFBC).
But that is all that the verification means. It does not imply that when they issued the Letters of Verification, they did any research to determine whether the data in the official records is factually correct.
