Why? There is no state in the Union that requires a birth certificate in order to get on the ballot.
If Obama ever needed proof of identity or Article II, Section 1 eligibility, he could use his passport (which is the preferred form of identification for identity and citizenship).
But every person employed in this country is supposed to be required to show documentation. To detassel corn my son had to show his birth certificate. Obama is not even supposed to receive a paycheck without having shown lawful documentation.
