So protecting the Constitution is the dumbest idea he has ever heard?

Time to educate Him.

Dear Lord, give us strength.

Does Burr think Obama makes law? Does he not understand the roles of the branches? Of course, one could argue that none of them do because they haven’t lifted a finger to exercise the powers granted them to stop Obama......either they don’t know or they’re all ‘in it’ together. Either way, it screams ‘time for a reset’.

Evidently he hasn’t bothered to look at any of the national polls. Public sentiment is against Obamacare.

Another useless Republican senator.

Isn’t he the one that ‘came out of the closet’ to vote for ending don’t ask don’t tell?

Wonder what the NSA has on him...

Blocking a government funding bill over ObamaCare is "the dumbest idea I've ever heard," Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.) said Thursday.

Senator DICKLESS Burr (R-NC) - "the dumbest idea I've ever heard."

He's another one of those GOPe Forever Senators that turn one term into "a lifetime of service" (to the establishment) that we all seem to be stuck with.

He gets just enough right to be re-elected, then reverts to his establishment self the rest of the time.

No senator, passing legislation without reading it (we have to pass it to know what’s in it) is the dumbest thing I ever heard.

The GOP has squandered the main power of Congress — the power of the purse.

A host of appropriation bills could be passed funding everything but Obamacare. If the President vetoes them, GOP leaders should be articulate enough to show who is responsible.

“Listen, as long as Barack Obama is president the Affordable Care Act is gonna be law.”

I guess he’s right on board with Benghazi coverup, IRS scandal(s), NSA spying, etc. After all, Elmer Fudd IS the president and most is covered by existing law.

Boy, I wish there were a two party system in this country. Or, as the founders wanted, no political parties.

And for the NSA trolls, FU.

Hey, Burr-head! Are you old enough to remember what percipitated the news photo below?

The house alone cut off funding and, despite a treaty obligation, operations were halted. It had far more serious consequences than defunding ObamaCare. You dumb nimrod.

Yet another Republican country clubber undermining his own party.

It would be amazing if he and the GOP fools like him had this vitriol for the Democrats.

Instead of working within the GOP ranks, he airs the dirty laundry to the media.

Constitutional checks and balances is the dumbest idea he ever heard?

I’m speechless.

Meanwhile, Eric Holder- the man who’s supposed to be in charge of enforcing our laws- has announced he’s going to openly defy a SCOTUS ruling, and the RINOs evidently have no problem with that...

A specific reason? How about it being saturday and sunday....

When Reagan was president, the democrats wanted him to stop supporting freedom-fighters opposing their liberal socialists buddies in south america, but they had no way to pass a law.

SO instead, they simply cut all funding, making it illegal to SPEND any money for that support — even though otherwise, existing law made that support legal. So rather than changing a law, they used funding.

It was this action that lead to Reagan seeking ways to get private money to the contras. Which led to Iran-Contra.

Which is like Obama trying to get private companies to pony up money for Obamacare because he knows the house won’t vote NEW appropriations.

So if the house would simply refuse to appropriate ANY money for the parts of obamacare that need money and are destructive to our country, they would simply be following in the footsteps of democrats. Not that this would stop liberals from screaming, because liberals are never consistant except in their inconsistancy.
