Does anyone remember that we have an economy that is still in a slow recovery mode? It seems that the new normal is a slow economic recovery that produces very few jobs and most of them are part-time jobs. I know most of the people who read this post already understand that. Many people in Washington realize that our economy is not doing well at all. There are, however, some who would divert our eye from the ball that is bouncing down the court. Here is what President Obama thinks about this.
Fox News - "The president thinks Washington has largely taken its eye off the ball on the most important issue facing the country," Obama senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said Sunday evening in a message sent to the White House's public email list. "Instead of talking about how to help the middle class, too many in Congress are trying to score political points, re-fight old battles and trump up phony scandals."When I read that paragraph, I couldn't help but wonder who was trying to score political points, re-fight old battles, and trump up phony scandals. Given his past rhetoric, I can only assume the President is talking about the IRS, Benghazi, Fox News reporters, Associated Press phone records, the NSA, Fast and Furious, etc. He is still blowing the horn of "nothing to see here, move along". Trumped up scandals, indeed. Four dead Americans and the IRS out of control and he calls those trumped-up scandals. It's the same old rhetoric he has used since he took office in 2009.
You see, President Obama is headed to an Illinois college this week to start a series of speeches on the economy. He will be touting his economic agenda and blame the Republicans for not following his lead on the economy. He has accused them of not having their eye on the ball and will continue those accusations, no doubt. He will be helped by a media that is still in his back pocket, even though they have also been attacked by his administration. All the while, he will continue to make assumptions and accusations about racism and stand your ground laws that have basis in reality and fact.
I can't help but point out that President Obama does not practice what he is preaching. If he is so concerned about phony scandals, then why did he make a surprise appearance at the White House briefing room and give a speech on how Trayvon Martin was a victim of racism? He and his entire administration have done everything within their power, and then some, to trump up phony charges against George Zimmerman. Once again, we have a liberal Democrat accusing his political opponents of the very things he, himself, is guilty of. At least, you can give President Obama points for consistency and persistence. Once he has a grip on a particular line of attack, he doesn't give up easily. Expect him to continue for another three years.
yes, it’s vague “Washington”... never YOU, is it?
I’m sure they know which cup it is under...
I believe there is a major typo in the following:
“All the while, he will continue to make assumptions and accusations about racism and stand your ground laws that have basis in reality and fact.”
I believe it should read: “All the while, he will continue to make assumptions and accusations about racism and stand your ground laws that have NO basis in reality and fact.”
Cowardly fools! They have created a monster, and it has already turned on them, and yet they ignore that.
It’s never his responsibility.
People should know that Democrats, Liberals in general project who they really are in almost every "sillyble" coming from their warped brains via their mouths. When they accuse directly, subtly others of anything they are projecting their own personality on their opposition. They are saying exactly what they are doing, but making it appear their opposition is the culprit. White Liberals tell Conservatives we are racist when in fact it's the opposite. They tell blacks that conservatives are racist when in fact it's the opposite. That's just one of the most repeated such projections we hear, or read everyday. So many more, but people have to understand those accusations are in reality the Left telling on themselves. Listen to them no matter how much it hurts, and you will hear THEIR story.
You’re right. I noticed that too.
There - fixed it.
Classic leftist passive aggressive rhetoric.
Keep the Middle Class depressed = they are always looking for someone to solve their problem for them = Republicans are getting in the way with all of their “distractions”.
In short, the Limbaugh Theorem.
