- In addition to his victory in Heller, Cruz has successfully defended the Ten Commandments monument on the Texas State Capitol grounds, the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools and the majority of the 2003 Texas redistricting plan. Talking to a friend this morning on the phone, I said that I believe that Cruz might be the guardian angel we’ve been waiting for. I think he is a genius, actually, who uses his genious for good as opposed to the evil genious behind what has been taking place in America for too long. He is one of the smartest Patriots I have seen in a month of Sundays. He has nowhere to go but up.

You missed one of the most amazing qualities:
Ted Cruz attended Princton and Harvard Law School, where he was lauded for being an “Ivy League Debate Champion”.
This unique quality allowed him to reduce Diane Feinstein to a blubbering ........ - I couldn’t figure it out at first; his facial expression never changed; his tone of voice never changed.
THIS QUALITY WILL MAKE HIM ALMOST UNBEATABLE IN ANY DEBATE. It’s no wonder the left already hates him. They already know how difficult he will be to defeat.
I should have guessed his secret, since I loved being a part of debate teams when I was in grammar school and high school. We were taught the same technique - don’t change your facial expression, and don’t lose your cool.
I found out about the Senator’s special skill when I got my Limbaugh Letter; the guest article was about Ted Cruz.

This is a fantastic speech. This guy knows Obamas tricks! He said that Obama had put into policy that people at the funerals of veterans could NOT say God Bless you.
Since Cruz had already successfully challenged a number of other attacks on the Bill of Rights in the courts, Obama backed off on this one.
The video gives encouragement. It is inspiring and well worth the 20 minutes.

My son and I had the pleasure of visiting D.C. for my son’s high school senior trip. Being from Texas, I contacted Sen. Cruz’s office for gallery passes. What I got in a return e-mail inviting me to his “Texas Tuesday Coffee”. I would get to meet the Senator, have a picture taken, etc. In the back of my mind I thought photo op and good-bye. Instead I got a report on the current legislation before the Senate, a brief conversation and then a photo.
Ted Cruz is a man that won’t back down if he feels his argument is the correct one. And as long as he doesn’t “read his own press clippings” will be a major asset to the conservative cause.

Cruz also knows the Constitution, obviously believes in it, and is more than willing to fight for it against all comers. I am extremely impressed with Cruz and that admiration grows nearly every day.
