Most likely a departure picture. Otherwise how would Stanley have known some random Kenyan student just hitting the beach unless you don a second tin foil hat? That gal beside Sr. is probably this Anna as seen in the below picture. There are others who look as if they appear in both pictures.

Why is Sr the same height as Stanley Dunham? And why does the face of SR in that photo exactly match in every respect the face of SR in the airport photo? Phil Dragoo I think is the one who figured that out. That means one of the two photos is shopped totally.

The peace sign is interesting. Didn’t that start being “in-vogue” in the mid to late 60’s?

It's starting to look more and more like the face of the man who is the central character in that 'dock image' might have been lifted from photographs taken in 1970-71 when the kenyan visited Hawaii. If that's the case, what you are looking at is either the kenyans departure from Hawaii after his visit, which would maybe explain why Stanley Armour Dunham was there...or the entire group is a fake, as are the numerous lei.

As I think most agree that top photo at the dock looks like bad photoshop.

Just my speculation and what stands out to me:

The leis just look plain old photoshopped to cover something up but...

The leis defy physics if they are assumed to be all the same size. What are the odds that some people had leis with a larger circumference and they just happened to put them on Obama Sr. first so that as they stack up they get smaller. The first leis go all the way down to his (presumed) waist. Those are some very long leis at the bottom and short leis at the top.

Also Obama Sr. has ape-long arms. I mean they just go on forever. I’m surprised they don’t touch the ground.

In a graphics program I covered Obama Sr. and Stanley in t-shirts I made to get rid of the distraction of the leis. Since the Stanley and Obama Sr. are pictured as the same height (I guess falsely). With the same head, shoulder, elbow and wrist placement Obama Sr.’s should be in proximity to Stanley’s but Obama Sr.’s are much lower.

To me it looks like they were covering up a shorter man by pasting Obama Sr.’s head on a different body but they (for whatever reason) pasted the head and shoulders too high then covered it with extra leis.

Just draw a line straight through Stanley’s shoulder and elbow across to Obama Sr.and you’ll see it’s off for Obama Sr.

I mean look at the wrist of the woman in the black dress it’s not too far off from where Obama Sr’s wrist is.

That’s a shorter man under those leis.

It’s like they needed Obama Sr. to be in that photo.
