I don't know about the military, but the militarized police are chomping-at-the-bit to shoot US civilians.It's a big country and it depends on the locale. I am blessed by local LEO's who would stand with and defend the people they serve. So if you can, find a location with a constitutionally-minded sheriff and enjoy some peace of mind in that regard.
