Last Mondays attack in Boston was a tragedy, as was the explosion in Texas.
Unfortunately, as is often the case when big news happens, many other events, often very important events, get swept under the rug in todays world of 24-hour breaking news coverage.
Perhaps this is what President Obamas former Chief of Staff and Chicago Mayor, Rahm Emanuel, meant, when he stated, You a never want a serious crisis to go to waste and what I mean by that is that its an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.
So lets take a look at some of the headlines you may have missed last week:
Congress Passes CISPA, Obama Gives $123MILLION to Terrorists, Boy Scouts Cave To Homosexual Agenda, US Sends Troops to Syrian Conflict...

Actually no, Boston was not a tragedy anymore than Pearl Harbor was a tragedy.
Boston was an attack on our Country.
Texas was a tragedy.
While we weren’t looking at the rest of the news...
ugh
“While we werent looking at the rest of the news...”
You mean while the media wasn’t reporting the rest of the news. While Boston was certainly an important story & catching the two little jihadis was a priority, it didn’t merit wall-to-wall, 24 hour coverage while some very important stories were virtually unmentioned. I swear this “media” is all about wagging the dog.
